Wherever you are in the world right now, on a business trip or honeymoon, you can unfortunately get sick or have an accident.<\/p>\n

In this case, if repatriation to your home country is not an option due to your state of health, you must seek medical treatment locally. Unfortunately, in many countries, medical care is inadequate. In this case, medical evacuation to an area offering an optimum level of care is required.<\/p>\n

To meet this objective, West Indies Assistance relies on a medical network made up of hospitals and clinics, doctors, a paramedical network, service providers specialized in patient transport, as well as a range of services in referral, care coordination and accompaniment.<\/p>\n

        Depending on the patient’s nationality, the cost of medical evacuation or repatriation may be fully or partially covered by insurance, Social Security, mutual insurance or the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n
